3CGS to implement CIRCLE uptake research

As a follow-up to the Climate Impact Research Capacity Leadership Enhancement (CIRCLE) research, Dr. (Mrs.) Mercy Derkyi, a 2015 CIRCLE fellow and Acting Head, Centre for Climate Change and Gender Studies (3CGS) has won the CIRCLE research uptake fund.

Project title: Sharing and co-creating of knowledge on Climate Change adaptation and mitigation strategies among practitioners in the transitional and savannah eco-zones of Ghana.

Duration: 12 months

Funding source: CIRCLE, AAS/ACU/UKaid

Amount: $ 4,910

Summary of activities:

The uptake research will focus on knowledge sharing and co-creation, field practice and training on climate change adaptation/mitigation strategies among practitioners (farmers, Department of Agriculture, Meteorological agency) and researchers in the transitional and savannah eco-zones of Ghana.
