Former Vice Chancellor Becomes Full Professor

formatfactoryprof-mrs-esi-awuah2Prof Mrs Esi Awuah, the immediate past Vice Chancellor of the University of Energy and Natural Resources has been promoted to the rank of full professor by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Prof Esi Awuah, a product of Oda Secondary School and Aburi Girls joined the KNUST in the early 1980s after graduating from the same institution.

By dint of hardwork, Prof Awuah rose through the ranks to become Associate Professor in Sanitation Engineering in the early 2000s and has consulted for multilateral agencies in the area of water and sanitation.

In 2012, Prof Awuah was appointed as the Foundation Vice Chancellor of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) after it was established by the late President, Prof J. E. A Mills.
