Faiza Umar Bawah is an early career lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Informatics, who executes her responsibilities through core professionalism and mentorship. Her passion for uncovering meaningful patterns in data to improve upon knowledge in different aspects of life has influenced her research interest. She aspires to become an accomplished Data Scientist.

As a lady pursuing a STEM career, she has been able to mentor and provide leadership to female students in the Department and University as a whole. Her dedication to the empowerment of females in all aspects of life is unwavering.
