As a Lecturer of Statistics at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, School of Sciences, my teaching philosophy is to collaborate with other faculty members to create a serene lecture room environment to engage and interact with students to prepare them adequately and effectively to be mastery of current theories and concepts in statistics and it applications in the real world so that they can have enormous knowledge and skills to impact society. In terms of research, I wish to engage other faculty members and researchers worldwide to handle data efficiently and develop new ideas and add up to existing ones in the area of biostatistics, mixed models, and over dispersed models.
