Finance Directorate

The Finance Directorate is responsible for preparing the University’s annual budget estimates, keeping all financial records of the University, production of periodic budgetary control reports, and preparation of annual statutory financial accounts.

Internal Audit Directorate

To be able to function effectively, the Internal Audit Directorate is organized into four (4) main areas; Financial Unit, Performance Audits and Investigations Unit, Compliance Audits Unit and Information Technology Audits Unit.

Health Services Directorate

The University Health Services Directorate has the prime mandate to provide efficient and effective delivery of health services to students, staff and their relatives as well as provide regular health extension services to the adjoining communities.

Works and Physical Development Directorate

The Works and Physical Development Directorate is responsible for the overall development and maintenance of the physical environment of the University and the provision of essential services effectively and efficiently.

Procurement Directorate

In the exercise of its mandate, the directorate is to ensure that procurements are done most efficiently, upholding the principles of value for money, transparency and fairness.

Sports and Recreation Directorate

The Sports and Recreation Directorate with the support of the Sports and recreation committee serves as the main body with direct responsibility for overseeing the overall development and management of sports and recreation within the University.

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND ACADEMIC PLANNING DIRECTORATE

The Directorate is charged with a core mandate to systematically and continuously design mechanisms to improve the quality of teaching, learning, research, and service delivery in the University.

IT Directorate

The Directorate is responsible for all I.T. related activities in the University, including the provision of security of all data that traverse on the University’s network and has been responsible for the development and deployment of most of the University’s business applications.
