Jennifer Naa Jaaga is a Communication and Administrative professional with over five years of experience in university administration, specializing in public relations, journalism, and administrative functions. She currently serves as a Principal Administrative Assistant at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) in Sunyani, where she is a key member of the Academic and Students’ Affairs Division (ASAD).
Before her current role, she worked with the University Relations Office (URO), where she provided comprehensive media coverage for official university events, contributing to platforms such as the university website,social media and newsletters. She also played a pivotal role in the administrative operations of the office.
Jennifer holds a Master of Public Administration from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Cape Coast (UCC). Her commitment to professional development is reflected in her affiliations as an Affiliate Member of the Institute of Public Relations Ghana (IPRG), a Member of Women in Public Relations (WiPR), a Member of the American Society of Administrative Professionals (ASAP), and an alumna of the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) programme.
With a deep passion for youth and community development, Jennifer is particularly focused on advancing communication for development and international relations. In her new role at the Academic and Students’ Affairs Division, she aims to leverage her communication expertise to enhance student enrollment by empowering prospective applicants with a thorough understanding of the opportunities available through higher education as well as improve staff-client experience.
