Dr Moses Addo Nartey holds a PhD in Animal Science majored in Biotechnology at the Jiangsu University of Science and Technology. Presently, he is a lecturer at the Department of Animal Production and Health. Dr Nartey’s specific interests include; gene cloning, DNA profiling and sequencing, novel gene-editing technique CRISPR/Cas9 system, transcriptomic analysis. His current research interest revolves around identifying canonical genes responsible for micro livestock adaptation in the tropics. Additionally, his research interest revolves around molecular characterization, identification of genes and detection of fungi, bacteria and viruses using both conventional and Quantitative Real-Time PCR to elucidate functionalities of pathogens. Dr Nartey is young, energetic, industrious, calm, pleasant personality, and works well with others. In addition, he is trustworthy, well organized in his work and keeps an eye on details.
