The Human Resource Division of the University of Energy and Natural Resources on Friday, September 29, 2023 organized an exit seminar for the 2022/2023 batch of the National Service Personnel who were posted to the University for a one-year mandatory service. The seminar was designed to offer a heartfelt farewell to the service persons as they prepared to exist and step-out confidently in pursue of their professional careers. The event also brought together university officials who shared essential advice and encouragement.
Participants received presentations on topics such as “Facing the Future with Hope and Confidence,” “Tips for Successful Job Interviews,” “Scholarship Opportunities for Higher Learning,” and “Unleashing Entrepreneurial Potential in the Face of Unemployment.” These insightful talks were delivered by facilitators within and outside the University, providing invaluable guidance on the next step(s) of transitions into the job market.
The Acting Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. John K. M. Kuwornu on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, expressed the University Management’s appreciation to the personnel for their dedicated services rendered to the University. He advised them to maintain good behavior in all their future endeavors and reminded them of the importance of upholding the University’s reputation. He further commended them for the immense contribution made towards the progress of the University, despite various challenges they faced in discharging their services.

The National Service President for the Sunyani West Municipal, Mr. Samuel Oppong Kyeremeh, in his speech thanked the University for hosting his colleagues; appreciating the love and education they had received during their year of service. He disclosed that it was an honour for them to be accepted into the university community.
The seminar demonstrated the university’s commitment to the growth and development of service persons as well as forging a strong collaborative tie between them.
