Ms. Abigail Yeboah-Kyereh is a highly accomplished and results-oriented University Administrator with over thirteen years of progressive experience in higher education administration, quality assurance, academic planning, institutional communication, public relations, policy development, and event management. She is known for her professionalism, leadership, strategic thinking, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to drive institutional initiatives that support organizational growth and excellence.

Abigail holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Public Relations from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science with Sociology from the University of Ghana.
She joined the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) in 2012 as a Senior Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor. Through dedication, competence, and a commitment to excellence, she rose through the ranks, becoming Principal Administrative Assistant in 2017, Junior Assistant Registrar in 2020, and Assistant Registrar in 2022.

Between August 2020 and October 2024, she served in the University Relations Office (URO), where she headed the Media Relations Section and later the Publications and Documentation Unit. In these capacities, she played a leading role in enhancing the University’s visibility and reputation through strategic communication, media engagement, content creation, institutional publications, and digital media management. She coordinated publicity for major university events, achievements, research outputs, and partnerships, contributing significantly to strengthening the University’s public image and stakeholder relations.

From October 2024 to May 2026, Abigail served as an Assistant Registrar at the Quality Assurance and Academic Planning Directorate (QAAPD), where she provided administrative leadership and technical support for quality assurance and academic planning functions across the University. She coordinated activities relating to institutional and programme accreditation, policy reviews and academic programme development.

In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Abigail is widely recognized as one of UENR’s finest Masters of Ceremony (MCs). She is renowned for her exceptional stage presence, eloquence, confidence, and ability to connect with audiences across diverse settings. Over the years, she has successfully moderated and hosted numerous university ceremonies, conferences, workshops, public lectures, stakeholder engagements, and high-profile institutional events. She also possesses considerable expertise in event planning and management.
Currently, Abigail is the Assistant Registrar at the Registrar’s Office. In her current role, she supports the coordination of academic and administrative activities, contributes to institutional governance processes, and provides strategic administrative support towards the achievement of the University’s mission and strategic objectives.

She is a member of the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA), the Institute of Public Relations (IPR), Ghana, and Women in PR Ghana.
Her professional philosophy is inspired by the words of Habakkuk 2:3:”For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it shall speak, and not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
