A fisheries and aquaculture scientist with over 10 years experience with a deep interest in aquaculture, small-scale fisheries, value chain analysis, post-harvest operations, fisheries and ocean governance, fisheries economics, livelihood, food security, and climate change.

As a member of the National Committee on Aquaculture by the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Ghana, has been involved in many policy decisions and policy guidelines concerned with aquaculture issues for the government of Ghana, farmers, and non-governmental organizations.
He has had fisheries and aquaculture experience from a number of countries including Australia, Belgium. Canada, Italy, Mauritius, Nigeria and the United Kingdom. He has won awards from the Department for International Development (UK), Department of Trade and Foreign Affairs (Australia), The World Academy of Sciences (Italy), Canadian Commonwealth Exchange Program-Africa (Canada), etc.
