Emmanuel Asare Ph.D.

Dr. Emmanuel Asare, is a dynamic and enthusiastic young professional with appreciable expertise in accounting, finance, and management roles based on these qualifications (PhD, Chartered Accountant, Master’s in Financial Management, Bachelor’s degree in Art). Diverse accounting, finance, and managerial experience with leading public institutions as well as the private sector since September 2009. It all began from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Top Technocrats Ghana Limited and then University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR).

Professionally, I have occupied several positions at different levels in my career including my present position as the Ag. Head of Treasury, Finance Directorate, UENR. In addition, I have published a number of peer reviewed journal articles as well as a reviewer of peer reviewed publications. I double as a part-time lecturer and I have taught (facilitated) several undergraduate and post-graduate courses at the KNUST since 2015. Similarly, I have supervised a number of undergraduate and post-graduate students’ thesis at KNUST. Attended several conferences, workshops and seminars to improve my continuous professional development (CPD) career as a participant and a facilitator including financial training on Solar-Powered Irrigation System (SPIS).

Pleasant and self-motivated individual with demonstrable ability to adapt to different learning methodologies. An analytical and problem-solver with good initiative and drive for institutional development. Proactive, team player, result driven with excellent communication and interpersonal relationship. Appreciable IT skills with flexible attitude to work, and as well a high degree of integrity. Excellent in presentation delivery to top management and produce report when needed. Capable of working with multicultural team. Research interest areas are Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Economics and Management. Cherish giving, caring for the needy, widow and vulnerable in the society.
