PERSONAL SUMMARY
Samuel Afotey Anang (Ph.D.) is a qualified and a committed lecturer in the fields of Agriculture and Rural Development with constructive and effective teaching skills that makes teaching and learning fun for effective and easy assimilation of facts by students. He possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to work in a team and work under pressure to tight schedules successfully. He has a particular passion for teaching and research work, a competent lecturer and academic researcher influencing the agricultural and rural development sectors. Samuel Afotey Anang has consulted for a number of organizations notable among them are Business Management and Financial Institute (BMFI) and Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development in the fields of agriculture and rural development. His research interest include; socio-economic factors affecting agricultural production in the developing countries, livelihoods and rural development, sustainable agriculture, gender issues and empowerment and poverty reduction research, livelihood diversification by farming households, food security and poverty status among households, adaptation strategies to climate variability used by farming households, agriculture cooperative societies in food production, precision agriculture and food security, smart agriculture and agricultural insurance and risk management. He has considerable number of publications in recognized peer reviewed journals to his credit.
