Ing. Duke Nii Darko Quaye is a professional engineer and Lecturer with the Department of Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering, UENR, Sunyani. His teaching and research interests are in the areas of farm power and machinery, agricultural mechanization generally and bioengineering systems and their sustainability. He worked as a Research Assistant with the University of Ghana for some years before transitioning to the oil and gas sector where he has had wide range of experience in downstream oil and gas operations covering safety, maintenance, project management and terminal operations both locally and internationally.
He holds a BSc. and MPhil. in Agricultural Engineering from KNUST and the University of Ghana respectively and currently pursuing PhD studies in Bioengineering with KNUST. He has had fellowship studies in Universities in Poland and Spain in Mechanical Engineering and Bioenergy respectively and also holds a Diploma in Project Management.
He presently also serves as the Industrial Attachment Coordinator for the Department.
