Emmanuel Kwaku Sackey, a Senior Technician in the Department of Forest Science at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) in Sunyani, Ghana. His work centres on forest ecology and silviculture of both timber and non-timber forest products across various environments—temperate, tropical, subtropical, and urban. Emmanuel possesses expertise in Geographic Information System (GIS) applications, advanced data analysis using R programming software, and baseline construction for plantation establishment and forest land demarcation. He holds a Master of Philosophy in Social Forestry and Environmental Governance, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management, both from UENR. His research interests span tree dendrochronology, forest landscape restoration, social forestry, carbon sequestration, and climate change.
