John Gyabaah Ansu is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering at the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani, Ghana, and a Certified Sustainable Energy Auditor. He is a Fellow of the Regional Center for Energy and Environmental Sustainability. John joined the University in 2018 after several years of industrial experience. Since joining the University, he has served in several capacities namely departmental Coordinator for weekend and online learning program, academic counsellor, project coordinator and a member of the departmental curriculum review committee. John is currently on study leave pursuing a PhD in United States of America having served the University from 2018 to 2023. His research interest includes power system optimization, renewable(sustainable) energy systems, energy efficiency, application of machine learning and artificial intelligence in power systems and demand response. John also has extensive knowledge and interest in smart grid technologies.
