Mr. Prince Awuah holds M.A. in Human Resource Management from University of Cape Coast, (UCC) and B.Ed. Social Science (Geography Major) from University of Education, Winneba (UEW). He also holds Teacher Certificate ‘A’ from the Berekum College of Education.
Mr. Awuah joined the service of UENR as a Senior Administrative Assistant in 2012 and rose through to Senior Assistant Registrar. Before his current position as Senior Assistant Registrar, Mr. Awuah had served the University in various capacities. He was a Senior Administrative Assistant at the Human Resource Division of the Registrar’s Office, and later at the University Library between 2012 and 2016. He was appointed Junior Assistant Registrar in 2016 and was upgraded to the rank of Assistant Registrar in 2018 and was the Chief of Staff to the Vice Chancellor and serves as the link between the Registrar’s Offices and the Vice Chancellor’s Office, among other duties. He has been a member or secretary to various statutory and non-statutory committees of the University until his transfer to the School of Graduate Studies, UENR where he serves as the Senior Assistant Registrar/Secretary to the School.
He served as the Secretary of the UENR Chapter of the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA) from 2016 to 2022 and was a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Association. He is also a member of the professional body of Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (CIHRM), Ghana.
He is a team player, reliable, result-oriented, dedicated to duties and a versatile university administrator who strives for excellence in all his endeavours. Mr. Awuah has a publication, a number of proposals and memoranda to his credit.
