I am a forester with a social science background. I have broad research interests that span urban forest, environmental and natural resource economics and the impact of changes in the forest landscapes on dependent communities. The key feature of my work is an emphasis on both theoretical and empirical aspects and their relevance at the community level. My most recent research focused on “tools for sustainable urban agriculture in the Sunyani Municipality”. Currently pursuing PhD in Social Forestry and Environmental Governance, my research would focus on the DYNAMICS IN MEDICINAL PLANTS SECURITY. The study would explore the interaction between various aspects of sustainable utilisation of medicinal plants in both rural and urban communities and their conservation. Before joining the University of Energy and Natural Resources, I worked with the Forestry Research Institute of Ghana (FORIG)of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
