John Adamba is a Principal Library Assistant at the library department of the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani, Ghana. He holds a Masters of Art degree in Information Studies, Bachelor of Arts Information Studies with Sociology and Diploma in Librarianship (Distinction) all from the University of Ghana, Legon. He was employed as a Library Assistant on September 9, 2013 at the University Library, immediately after his National Service. He was responsible for managing the Cataloguing Section of the department, since 2014 to 2023 for effective and efficient access and retrieval of information resources. He is currently assigned as a sectional head for Reference and Client Unit of the department. He is dedicated and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record. I aspire to always work diligently in an environment where my organizational skills and expertise can contribute to the success of the operations and services of the department and the institution at large. My research interest is in Cataloguing and Classification, Collection Management, Reference management and Information Literacy Skills.
