Dr. Saeed Ibn Idris Kofi Yeboah holds a PhD and MSc in Environmental Engineering Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) for Science Education, and a BSc in Environmental Engineering. His research interests include environmental engineering, water-environment-health nexus, solid waste engineering and management, spatial analysis, environmental sampling, instrumentation, GIS and remote sensing, engineering economics, climate change adaptation and mitigation and microbial and chemical health risk analysis. He has led several projects on water quality monitoring and modelling and is also a reviewer for several journals including Scientific African, European Journal of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, Environmental Health Insights and Environmental Research: Health. At the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR), he has served in various capacities, including Teaching and Research Assistant, Research Director for the Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG),and currently as a Senior Technician in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He has also been an active member of several departmental committees, including the Committee for Curriculum Development, Research Proposals, and the Committee for Seminars, Workshops, Conferences, and Webinars. Recently, he was a facilitator for short courses on Fisheries Management, Integrated Coastal Zone Management, and Climate Change Adaptation at the University of Cape Coast’s Centre for Coastal Management, Africa’s Centre of Excellence in 2021. Dr. Yeboah was also a team member of the 2nd Place and Most Market-Ready Proposal Team at the U&AI 2022 AI Bootcamp for SDGs Youth, organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) China. The team, consisting of international researchers and innovators, developed a proposal that was recognized for its high market potential in leveraging AI to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He is proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), STATA, SWAT, QGIS, ArcGIS, SPSS, R, NVIVO, LISREL, EndNote, and various internet-based research tools.
