Ecotourism, Recreation and Hospitality
Sampson Wireko-Gyebi, PhD., holds a PhD and an MPhil in Hospitality Management as well as a BSc. in Tourism from the University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast, Ghana. He is a Senior Lecturer. Currently, he is the Head for the Department of Ecotourism, Recreation and Hospitality. He is a member of the University’s Academic Board and a member of the School of Natural Resources’ Quality Assurance Committee. Sampson also served as the Industrial Attachment Coordinator for the School of Natural Resources for seven years.
In terms of research, his focus covers issues related to tourism and hospitality education, customer relations management, traditional and contemporary events in the hospitality/tourism sector, students’ accommodation, work-related stress in hotels, food-related issues in the hospitality/tourism sector.
