The University Community is hereby informed that the Department of Environmental Management, School of Natural Resources, will commemorate this year’s World Environment Day Celebration under the theme:

“Nature-Based Solutions for Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation.”

The programme is scheduled as follows:

Date: Thursday, 16th July, 2026

Time: 8:00 a.m.

Venue: RCEES Auditorium

The celebration will bring together students, staff, researchers, environmental practitioners, and other stakeholders to discuss sustainable, nature-based approaches to addressing climate change and promoting environmental resilience.

All members of the University Community are cordially invited to attend and participate in this important event.
