The attention of the authorities of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR), Sunyani has been drawn to fraudulent calls purportedly from or on behalf of the University; informing people of admission offers and requesting for payment of fees via mobile money.
THE UNIVERSITY HEREBY WARNS the general public and prospective students to be wary of such calls from fraudsters and scammers because the University does not in any way receive fees via mobile money except through the University approved banks.
The general public is further informed that this channel of communication to our prospective students did not emanate from authorities of the University of Energy and Natural Resources.
Further, you are all requested to disregard calls from any Staff or any persons who may hold themselves as staff of the University on the pretext of assisting you gain admission for a fee or to give information on your admission status.
The University website www.uenr.edu.gh and official social media platforms are the only authentic online sources of information on admissions. All qualified applicants are requested to check their admission status on their admission portal for the necessary information.
