The Bono Regional branch of Stanbic Bank Ghana on June 18, 2024 donated office equipment to the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR). The items donated were a brand new coloured printer, an office cabinet, a set of air conditioner and Dell desktop.
According to the Branch Manager, Mr. Gabriel Kwao-Boateng the gesture was to demonstrate the bank’s commitment to strengthen the partnership with UENR and to support education. He recounted a visit to UENR where the Bank realized a need to support the University with some equipment.
Receiving the items on behalf of the University, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Elvis Asare-Bediako expressed his profound appreciation to the entire Bank and described the arrival of the items to be timely as the University needs such support to operate daily. He was optimistic that the gesture would strengthen the existing relationship between the University and the bank.
