UENR ALUMNI ASSOCIATION DONATES TO THE FIAPRE TRADITIONAL AUTHORITY

The UENR Alumni Association led by the UENR Alumni President, Mr. Lewis Amankonah and the Acting Head of Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations Office, Mr. Charles Aidoo has donated to the Fiapre Traditional Authority in support of the Obrempong’s Science and Maths Quiz organized for the primary and basic schools within the Community.

The items donated included a cash price of Gh¢1,000, 10 packs of exercise books, 4 packs of mathematical sets, 4 packs of pens, 2 packs of erasers, 3 packs of long meter rulers, 2 packs of pencils and 5 packs of Verna Mineral water.

In a brief statement before presenting the items, the Alumni President noted one of the goals of the Association is to contribute its quota towards education in the Bono Region and beyond. He further said the Fiapre community has been of great support to the students of UENR hence the charitable gesture to show appreciation.

Nana Kwaku Asante Nketiah Kyenkyenhene, Spokesperson of the Authority receiving the items thanked the Association for their philanthropic gesture and assured the team that it would be used for the intended purpose to promote quality education within the Fiapre locality.
