UENR CORPORATIVE CREDIT UNION DONATES PPE’s TO UENR

In a bid to improve staff protection and safety on campus during the COVID-19 Pandemic, the UENR Corporative Credit Union (UCCU) has donated some Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and sanitary products to the University of Energy and Natural Resources.

The items, valued at GH₵ 4,000.00 included twenty-five (25) bottles of sanitizers, a hundred and fifty (150) pieces of nose masks, fifty (50) gallons of liquid soap, and sixty-six (66) pieces of tissue rolls.

Presenting the items, the Chairman of the Interim Board of UCCU, Mr. Alfred Appiah said “the union found it prudent to compliment the efforts of the University with these PPE’s and sanitary products.”

cr4The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Harrison K. Dapaah expressed his appreciation for the gesture as he received the items saying, “On behalf of the University, I would like to thank the management of the UENR Corporative Credit Union for this donation to the University as part of their corporate social responsibility to the University. We really appreciate it. We all know the current situation we are in and as a University, we need to ensure that our staff are well protected. These items donated to us will aid in doing just that.”

Other members of the UCCU Management were also present to facilitate the donations.
