UENR RECEIVES I.T ITEMS TO SUPPORT TEACHING AND LEARNING

The Representative for Universities in Ghana overseas in the United Kingdom, Mr Andy Lumor has on behalf of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in the U.K presented a set of 125 Computers, three (3) Servers, three (3) Smart Projectors and 12 Printers to the University of Energy and Natural Resources to support teaching and learning.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Harrison Dapaah receiving the items on behalf of the University thanked Mr Lumor and the donor institution for their philanthropic gesture to UENR. He added that the arrival of the items was timely as the University has put measures in place to make UENR a world-class hub for tertiary education in the country and assured that the item would be put to maximum use to improve teaching and learning on campus. The Vice-Chancellor further said the University is ready to relate with Guildhall School of Music and Drama as well as other Universities in the UK to explore possible areas of collaboration that will be beneficial to all.

Also present to receive the items were the Registrar, Mr Solomon Panford; The Head of IT Directorate, Dr Nana Diawuo and the Faculty Officer-School of Natural Resources,  Mr Charles Kojo Aidoo who initiated the process on behalf of the University.
