Anokye Acheampong Amponsah is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Informatics. He acquired his BSc. Information Technology Education in 2013 and MPhil. Information Technology in 2016 from the University of Education, Winneba and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi respectively. He is currently pursuing his PhD. Computer Science at the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani (UENR). Anokye has research interests in the provision of long-lasting technological solutions to pertinent local and continental problems. His contemporary research area falls within the confines of Blockchain Technology, Data Mining, Multimedia Applications, Privacy-Preserving Data Mining (PPDM), E-Commerce, etc. All his publications are in peer-reviewed journals. Again he has attended numerous national and international workshops, seminars, and conferences. Technically, Anokye has competencies in Graphic Design, Productivity, Databases, and Web Technology software and is an uncertified Ethical Hacker. In the past, Anokye worked in Christian Service University College as a part-time Lecturer. In UENR, he has served as the Department Weekend Programmes Coordinator from 2018 to 2021 and is currently the School Weekend Programmes Coordinator. Anokye is professional in all his endeavours and has contributed meaningfully in the graduation of more than one thousand (1000) BSc. graduates in Information Technology and Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science and Informatics. He is a good standing member of the Ghana Science Association and believes in the provision of selfless, humane, services to all regardless of social, political, and economic prominence.
