Augustine Amura is a results-driven Information Technology professional with over fifteen years of progressive experience in systems analysis, network infrastructure design, and cybersecurity within the higher education sector. He currently serves as Systems Analyst and Head of Systems and Network Infrastructure at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR), where he leads the planning, implementation, and management of enterprise IT systems that support academic and administrative operations.

He has a proven track record of designing and deploying secure, scalable, and resilient network architectures, including campus-wide wireless systems and fiber infrastructure expansions. His expertise spans network engineering, server administration, virtualization, cloud computing, and cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs using industry-standard technologies such as Cisco and Huawei platforms.

Augustine has successfully implemented business continuity and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring high availability and data integrity across institutional systems. He is highly skilled in managing Windows Server environments, Linux/Unix systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise backup solutions.
