Mrs. Anna Amankwah-Minkah is an Assistant Lecturer with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Energy and Natural Resources. She teaches, conducts research and supervises students in a number of areas including Fluid Mechanics, Hydrology, Hydraulics, Water Supply, Irrigation and Drainage. With more than 14 years of professional experience, her background encompasses a diverse range of roles, from conducting water resources and environmental sanitation research in the Ashanti and Eastern Regions, to spearheading field research aimed at optimizing technology for the benefit of small-scale vegetable farmers during the dry season in both Northern Ghana and Southern Burkina Faso. In addition, she has actively participated in capacity development and investigative work centered on the use of groundwater in the White Volta basin. She possesses substantial experience in collaborating with multicultural and interdisciplinary teams. Mrs. Anna Amankwah-Minkah has a BSc in Civil Engineering and a MSc in Water Resources Engineering and Management both from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. She is currently pursuing a doctorate program. Her areas of research interest are in groundwater recharge and sustainability, and climate change.
