Charles Kwame Bandoh, PhD is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Sciences at the University of Energy and Natural Resources. With a passion for teaching and research, he is committed to imparting knowledge and helping students develop their skills and competencies.
As a Lecturer, Dr. Bandoh is responsible for delivering lectures, designing course materials, and conducting research in his field of expertise. He is also involved in mentoring students and providing academic and career advice.
Dr. Bandoh holds a PhD degree in Solid State Physics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi-Ghana. He obtained his MPhil degree in Solid State Physics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the same department and in the same university in the year 2015 and 2011 respectively. After his bachelor’s degree, he served as a teaching and research assistant at the Department of Physics, KNUST during the 2011/2012 academic year.
His current research area is synthesis, characterization and photocatalytic studies of nanomaterials for the degradation of organic dyes in Water. He is also interested in synthesizing and characterizing some inorganic nano-materials and studying their optical and electronic properties for applications as solar cell materials.
Dr. Bandoh is an active member of the Ghana Science Association (GSA).
