Daniel Aidoo-Mensah is an experienced Agricultural Economist and Microfinance Specialist with universal banking experience and also a development worker with agricultural extension background. He is presently working as a Lecturer with the University of Energy and Natural Resource, Sunyani, Ghana. He has previously worked with the Methodist University College Ghana (MUCG), as a Lecturer in agricultural economics and agribusiness related courses from 2009 to 2021. He was also the Co-ordinator of the weekend Bachelor of Business Administration programme on the Wenchi Campus of MUCG with one of the responsibilities among others as the ?frontline? supervisor of the programme. He is also a consultant in agricultural marketing development to mango farmers in the Wenchi Municipality and a certified business incubation manager. He has worked as Operations Director of APED (now VISIONFUND, GHANA) a subsidiary of World Vision International with major responsibilities in planning and programming; operation and management; capacity building and administration; research and development and reporting and monitoring. He has also been a part-time lecturer in Microfinance (handled Risk Management in Microfinance) in the Department of Economics ? University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He has a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He spent 12 months as a visiting scholar at Makerere University, Uganda as part of his PhD programme where he also had certificates in Project Planning and Management and Project Monitoring and Evaluation.
