Emmanuel Adjei Domfeh is an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani, specializing in Information Technology and Computer Science. He has a fervent interest in Human-Centered AI, Machine Learning, Human-Computer Interactions, and the ethical implications surrounding AI systems. With both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the same university, Emmanuel has a drive to apply modern computer principles to address tangible challenges, particularly in the African context.
His educational journey includes an MPhil in Computer Science , during which he delved into performance analysis and evaluation of Machine Learning models in breast cancer detection. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. His undergraduate project explored decision-making systems for underground dam site location using Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process.

In terms of research, Emmanuel boasts several publications with topics ranging from ensemble machine learning techniques for botnet attack detection to quantum computer games. He’s also engaged in ongoing research related to e-governance in Ghana and blockchain technology’s potential in the real estate sector.

Beyond his academic and research accomplishments, Emmanuel is certified in Python for Data Science by IBM. He’s adept at various software tools and showcases proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, Dart, and VB.Net. His software contributions include systems for health management, restaurant management, and sports scouting.

Emmanuel’s professional journey spans roles as an IT Consultant, Teaching and Research Assistant, Programs Officer, and a Senior Research Assistant. As of August 2023, he began his tenure as an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences, where he takes on teaching responsibilities, research, and community services.
