Mr. Ernest Darkwah Yeboah joined the University of Energy and Natural Resources in August 2016. He is with the School of Agriculture and Technology in the Department of Animal Production and Health as a lecturer. He is the acting head of the Department of Animal Production and Health, a member of the several committees with the university.
He is responsible for most animal nutrition and other related courses at the under-graduate level. He is a PhD candidate in Animal Nutrition at the Kwame Nkrumah University of science and Technology and holds a Master of Agriculture (Animal Nutrition and Feed Science) degree from the Jilin Agricultural University, China, a Bachelor of Science (Animal Science) degree from the University of Ghana, and an International Diploma Certificate in Pig Husbandry and Animal Feed from PTC+, Holland.
Prior to his employment at the University, Mr. Yeboah worked in varied disciplines in the education and Livestock sector. He has over twelve years of experience working as senior staff with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture’s Animal Production Directorate. He has lectured for almost six years at the University of Energy and Natural Resources.
Furthermore, he has been a member of several committees including the Ghana-Iranian bilateral agreement committee, Joint Ministry of Food and Agriculture and Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts (MoFA-MoTCCA) committee on broiler revitalization project. He was also a team member for the Ghana pilot project on Animal Genetic Resource data collection.
