Francis K. Attiogbe obtained PhD in Environmental and Resource Engineering from the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF) in Syracuse, NY, USA; MSc in Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation from KNUST, Kumasi; BSc. in Chemical Engineering from KNUST, Kumasi; Certificate in Solid Waste Management & Engineering from UNESCO-IHE in The Netherlands; and Certificate in Environmental Impact Assessment and Information Communication Technology Applications (EIA-ICT) from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium.
Francis K. Attiogbe joined the then Department of Energy and Environmental Engineering of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) in January 2014 and is currently an Associate Professor and Head at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Before joining UENR, he worked for Kumasi Polytechnic now Kumasi Technical University as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering, The Research Foundation of the State University of New York, Syracuse, NY as a Research Project Assistant, Biological Engineering Department of Utah State University, Logan, the USA as a Visiting Scholar and Barton College, Department of Science & Mathematics, Wilson-NC, the USA as a Volunteer Research Scientist.
