Kassim Tawiah began his primary education at Agona Swedru Ahmadiyya Primary School, continued it at Agona Amanful Methodist Primary A, and completed it at Agona Amanful ADA JHS. I went on to offer General Science at Agona Swedru Secondary School. I had my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics, Master of Philosophy in Statistics, and Diploma in Education at the University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast, Ghana, the University of Ghana, Accra, Ghana, and the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana, respectively. I am pursuing a PhD in Mathematical Statistics at the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. As a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, I envisage training the next generation of statisticians with a mastery of both theoretical and applied statistics. My areas of research include biostatistics, mixed models, overdispersed models, mathematical statistics, and applied statistics.
