He has been a teacher in the First, and second cycles of education in Ghana since 2001. He has also been teaching as a part-time lecturer in some private universities in Ghana. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in English Language at the University of Ghana, Legon.

He holds a degree in Primary Education (English Option) from the University of Cape Coast, and an MPhil in English Language Education, from the University of Education, Winneba. His published works have dealt with Grammar, Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), Semiology, and Multilingualism. He has assisted in writing modules for IEDE, University of Education, Winneba.
