John Kwasi Annan is a Junior Assistant Registrar at the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani, Ghana since January, 2021. Prior to his appointment, he was a Professional Teacher and rose to become a Principal Teacher at the KNUST Junior High School, Kumasi. He has over 14years of teaching experience.
He had his Bachelors’ degree at the Christian Service University College in 2011, and his Masters’ degree in 2013 from the University of Education, Winneba. He entered Yemyung Graduate University in Seoul, South Korea in 2017 and was awarded a Ph. D in Global Leadership in 2021. Whilst still a student, John was a member of University’s Thesis Validation Committee and also a Teaching Assistant to the Masters’ degree class teaching Coaching and Mentoring in Organizations.
As Junior Assistant Registrar, he is in charge of Senior and Junior Staff schedule handling issues on recruitment, interviews, promotions, arranging meetings, taking minutes and many others. He is the Secretary to the Appointments and Promotions Committee for Senior and Junior Staff (APCSJ).
His love for issues of Administration, Management and Leadership has taken him to Japan, South Korea and China for conferences, workshops and Seminars where he shared his experience in his field of specialization. John has also published a number of academic papers in some journals.
John is an excellent communicator, very sociable, self-motivated, and a team player who always strives for excellence in all fields of endeavour. His love for Music saw him climb the ladder to become one of the Music Directors in The Methodist Church-Kumasi Diocese. He is married to Mrs Ama Benewaa Annan and they are blessed with a son, Akyedzepa Kobina Annan.”
