Juliet Benewaa Assumeng is a dedicated and accomplished professional serving as Assistant Registrar and Sectional Head of Training and Development at the Human Resources Division of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR). As a PhD Candidate in Business Administration at the University of Cape Coast, Juliet brings valuable knowledge and expertise to her role, complemented by her MPhil in Human Resource Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and an MBA from the University of Cape Coast.
As a Certified Human Resource Professional, Juliet is a member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management and the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants. She is also a Resource Person for the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management and serves as a Facilitator for the Institute in Sunyani. Juliet has published research in reputable journals, including the International Journal of Science and Research. Juliet has participated in various national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops, presenting papers, facilitating sessions, and serving on organizing committees. These platforms have enabled her to share expertise, learn from others, and stay updated on human resource management trends.
With over 15 years of experience in administration, human resources, and education, Juliet possesses excellent problem-solving, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. She has held various roles, including Senior Tutor at the College of Distance Education, University of Cape Coast (Sunyani Centre), and various administrative positions at the Regional Education Office, Sunyani.
In her current role, Juliet provides strategic support to the Head of Human Resources Division, ensures policy compliance, and designs and implements staff training and development programmes. Her contributions extend to various committees, including the Scholarship and Staff Development Committee and the Public Lecture Committee.
