Naomi is a versatile, enthusiastic, fast-learning and result-oriented research Meteorologist and teacher, whose core interest is in the application of regional and global climate models (GCMs and RCMs). The models are applied in predicting seasonal climate, projecting future climate under different emission scenarios, and understanding potential impacts of global warming on regional climate for use by decision makers. She holds a Master of Science in Meteorology from the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Nanjing, China, and specialized in Short-range Climate Variation and Seasonal Forecast, and a PhD in Meteorology and Climate Science (West African Climate System) from the West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL), Graduate Research programme (GRP) at the Federal University of Technology Akure, (FUTA), Nigeria. She is a fellow of the AIMS NEI Program for Women in Climate Change Science (WiCCS), and her research focuses on food security and attainment of SDG2 in Ghana in the face of climate change, and increasing the number of women engaged in the fight against global warming.
