Mr. Stephen Kusi is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Chemical Sciences, University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani, Ghana. He holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Biochemistry from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and is currently pursuing a PhD in Biochemistry at the same institution.

As an Assistant Lecturer, Mr. Kusi is responsible for delivering lectures, conducting research, and designing course materials in his area of expertise. He is also involved in mentoring students and providing academic and career advice.
With over a decade of experience in academia and research, Mr. Kusi has taught biochemistry at various institutions, including Royal Ann College of Health and Anglican University College of Technology. He has also served as a Housemaster and Head of Biology at Prempeh College, demonstrating strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
His research focuses on biochemical mechanisms in disease pathogenesis, with particular interest in natural products, hepatoprotective agents, and system, and environmental toxicology. His research contributions include published works on the toxicity and therapeutic potential of natural products. Mr. Kusi has expertise in molecular biology techniques, enzymology, pharmacology, and biostatistics. He is committed to advancing scientific knowledge and mentoring the next generation of biochemists and researchers.
