“Baffour Antoa Mensah, MCIPS(C), MILT is an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Management Professional.He had his basic and junior secondary education at Cambridge International School in Kumasi and proceeded to Kumasi Academy for his second cycle education where he was elected as an Assistant House Prefect. He then gained admission to the famous Kumasi Polytechnic now Kumasi Technical University to pursue an HND programme in Purchasing and Supply and was elected the President for Ashanti Hall. In 2011 he graduated from KNUST with a Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. In 2014, Baffour was again awarded a Master Degree in Business Administration with specialty in Logistics and Supply Chain Management by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He is currently a Chartered Member, Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply-UK (CIPS) and a full member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport-UK (CILT). In August, 2014 Baffour got married to Nana Ama (a Nurse) and are blessed with 2 kids.
He joined the University as a Senior Procurement Assistant in September 2013 and was promoted to the rank of Assistant Procurement Officer in November, 2015 after he completed his MBA programme.
Before joining UENR, Baffour had his first job with Readwide Limited a book distribution and publishing company as a Warehouse Officer in 2007. In August, 2009 He joined the Supply Chain Management Unit of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi as a Procurement/Supply Officer and was later promoted to the rank of Senior Procurement/Supply Officer in August, 2012 where he handled the Procurement of Works and Maintenance materials.

Baffour is a Procurement Officer since November, 2017 and heads the Works Procurement Unit in the Procurement Directorate. Baffour believes that, Geeks are people who love something so much that all the details matter.”
