Dr. Mildred Deri is a lecturer and researcher in hospitality at the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Ghana. She holds a PhD in Hospitality and Tourism and specializes in hospitality education, curriculum development, and industry–academia alignment.
Dr. Deri’s research focuses on aligning hospitality and tourism education with industry demands, with particular emphasis on curriculum development, competency-based training, and the application of frameworks such as the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in educational contexts. Her work contributes to improving graduate employability and strengthening the linkage between academia and industry, especially within Ghana and the broader African context.
She has published in reputable academic journals and has participated in conferences and collaborative research initiatives aimed at advancing hospitality education and sustainable tourism development.
